This Prototype of a Vase is an attempt to capture the characteristics of the spoken word in a physical object. The written word is often seen as something fixed, unchangeable, definitive, clear, and unambiguous. In contrast, the spoken word embodies dynamism, flexibility, and complexity. This contrast of the two communication forms serves as the inspiration for the vase’s concept. By translating the spoken word into a three-dimensional form, the object represents the beauty and spontaneity of spoken language, providing it with the literal physical space.
